Managing Editor
Margaret joined Gill in June 2022, having previously worked in academic and educational publishing. She is Managing Editor of the Gill Books imprint. As editor, she works closely with authors from the point of manuscript submission, carrying out developmental and structural edits, and then managing the copy editing and proofreading stages. Margaret enjoys editing books across a wide variety of areas including biography, current affairs, history and humour. Recent titles she has worked on include Gallivanting with Words by Colm O’Regan and From Crown to Harp by David McCullagh, as well as Hector Ó hEochagáin’s The Irish Words You Should Know and An Irish Word a Day.
Margaret holds an LLB in Law from Trinity College Dublin and an LLM in Public International Law from the London School of Economics.
