General Product Safety Regulation

General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) is European Union (EU) legislation that ensures consumer safety for a wide range of non-food products, including books. Under the regulation, the manufacturer bears the responsibility to ensure any products placed on the market are safe by design. All products sold within the EU are affected by this legislation from December 13th, 2024.
