Joe Canning played hurling for as long as he could remember, and by the age of 15 he’d won an All-Ireland medal for Galway minors.
Joe’s career should have been perfect after that, but things changed when he reached the senior hurling team. Galway struggled against their main rivals, Kilkenny, and other great teams, and Joe experienced constant setbacks and disappointments. But this hurler was no quitter. He continued to train hard, kept his focus and finally found himself in Croke Park winning an All-Ireland hurling medal.
This is the amazing story of how Joe Canning became one of the greatest hurlers of all time!
