1.What G&M book do you think makes a perfect gift?
So hard to choose! Small Lives I think, for it’s all round appeal to young and old.

2. What books are you hoping to receive this year?
Nigel Slater’s new one and Isn’t it Well for Ye? The Book of Irish Mammies

3. What’s the last book you got as a present?
It has only just occurred to me that people don’t buy me books! Maybe because I work in publishing, people think it wouldn’t be a good idea. Must remedy that and leave a Christmas list somewhere obvious this year...
