Discover a side of Ireland you’ve never seen before in Ronan Moore’s hilarious follow up to Irishology!
Having travelled overseas for several years, Ronan Moore realised that while he might have seen the Great Wall of China, swam in the Nile and watched a football match at the Maracana, he had never been to the Giant’s Causeway, stepped foot on Achill Island or stopped to look at the Big Ball in Naas!
So after writing about all of the characteristics, customs and quirks of the Irish in his first book, Irishology, Ronan set about listing all the unique places that help make Ireland home for his second book, Irishography.
With five entries for every county in Ireland (even Leitrim!), Irishography takes us on a cheeky tour of Ireland, pointing out the finest features of our fair isle along the way.
With a keen eye and a sharp wit, Ronan’s humorous and irreverent guide will fill you in on little known gems in places like Galway, where rainfall is measured not in millimetres but in days, or Limerick - ‘a little like the Keyser Soze of Irish counties with a name far more notorious than the place ever was’ - and of course Fermanagh, which regularly tops the list of Irish counties that people forget when trying to name all 32.
