Andrea Hayes launches her new book, My Life Goals Journal, at Farrier & Draper
Last night’s snow falling was no impediment for the huge crowd who turned out to launch bestselling author Andrea Hayes’ second book, My Life Goals Journal, at Farrier & Draper in Powerscourt Townhouse Centre.
Andrea was supported by her husband David, a raft of family and friends, as well as her TV colleagues Pete Wedderburn (Pete the Vet), Jenny Buckley, Siobhan O’Connor and fellow authors Sinéad Moriarty and Claudia Carroll. Also in attendance were Mr. Pussy Alan Ambsby, Kym Smith (daughter to Jean Ann Kennedy Smith, a sister of President John F. Kennedy, she served as United States Ambassador to Ireland from 1993 to 1998) and, just in from New York, performance artist Penny Arcade, who’s now been performing for five decades and has worked with Andy Warhol, Jack Smith, and Quentin Crisp. She’s currently touring a show called Longing Lasts Longer at Edinburgh Fringe.
There was no evidence of a dry January as the prosecco flowed and Andrea wished the 200 strong crowd the very best for 2017. Launching the book Brendan Courtney described the ‘life-changing’ My Life Goals Journal as the perfect way to get the new year off to a good start with its beautifully designed pages for setting out your dreams for the year ahead and a strategy for making them happen.
