Linda Murphy

Sales Executive

Linda previously worked in Bank of Ireland customer support and the Educational Company of Ireland before joining the Gill Books sales team. In her many years working in publishing she has seen, first hand, the changing nature of the industry and enjoys the constant new challenges it brings to her role. She is now working closely with her colleagues on export and rights sales.

Linda can often be seen visiting bookshops with authors, and talking to booksellers to keep up with what’s going on in the market. She was part of the team that prepared the very first batch of Gill eBooks for release in 2011 and was heavily involved in the recent project to update and complete the migration of all 300 eBooks to a new distribution platform.

Linda has a Business Studies degree in Marketing and Languages, namely Spanish and French, which she is fluent in.
