Win an invitation to the launch of Neven Maguire’s new cookbook

25-10-2012 17:45

We’ve got a special prize for all our foodie fans! This weekend sees the release of Neven Maguire’s cookbook The MacNean Restaurant Cookbook. The waiting list for a table in MacNean’s is legendary but we’re offering you and a friend the chance to skip the queue and join us next Tuesday for a special dinner to launch the book! You’ll also receive a copy each of the book.

The book celebrates 30 years of outstanding cooking at MacNean Restaurant in Blacklion, Co. Cavan, originally run by Neven Maguire’s mother who sadly passed away this week. It is where Neven learned to cook and is now one of the most talked about and frequented restaurants in the country.

The book will be launched in MacNean House & Restaurant, Blacklion, Co. Cavan by RTÉ’S Marty Whelan, on Tuesday next, 30th October 2012.

A Champagne and canapé reception will kick the night off at 7 P.M and will be followed by a specially created three-course menu of Neven’s favourite recipes from The MacNean Restaurant Cookbook – with surprise courses!

We think you’ll agree it’s a pretty special prize! To be in with a chance to win email your name, phone number and address to win@gill.ie by 5pm on Saturday 27 October. The winner will be announced the following Sunday morning. Terms and conditions apply.

Terms and conditions: The prize includes dinner for two. Transport and accommodation on the night are not included and must be arranged by the prize winner.
