[Podcast] In a Room With a Psychiatrist

02-04-2014 10:30

Have you ever wondered what a first encounter between psychiatrist and patient is like?

"I hope that In My Room demystifies the hidden zone between the psychiatrist and the patient" - in his new book, In My Room, Professor Jim Lucey shares his experience as a psychiatrist, telling the stories to the general public in order to break down barriers between patients with mental illness and healthcare professionals. While the patient stories are diverse, one common theme emerges – that of recovery.
