Even Storm Desmond can’t keep Francis Brennan down – Tour Dates Rescheduled

Even Storm Desmond can’t keep Francis Brennan down!

Tour dates rescheduled for Tipperary, Wicklow and Wexford

Like much of the country last weekend, Francis Brennan found himself in a fix after being flooded-in by Storm Desmond in his hometown of Kenmare. He had no choice but to postpone his book-signing tour dates on Saturday and Sunday and spend a day by the Aga instead.

Throughout his 3 month book tour all across the country in his Happiness Tour Truck (photos attached), Francis has met fans in over 15 counties to sign copies of his memoir, Count Your Blessings: Francis Brennan’s Guide to Happiness. He has also been popping up in towns along the way with goodybags to spread a little happiness. As a happy coincidence, the goodybags include a bar of Cadbury Puddles chocolate and an umbrella printed with the message: Even when the darkest clouds are in the sky. Spread a little happiness as you go by.

Now that this particular storm has passed, Francis has rescheduled his tour dates and looks forward to meeting his fans around Tipperary, Wicklow and Wexford to finish his tour:

Saturday 19th December:

12pm Bridge Street Wicklow

3pm The Book Centre Wexford

Sunday 20th December:

12.30pm Bookworm Thurles

3pm Eason Nenagh

Francis’ new book follows the success of last year’s It’s the Little Things, one of the bestselling books of 2014. Counting My Blessings is Francis’ take on how to be happy by way of his memoir.

Full of warm and witty anecdotes, Francis Brennan reveals how counting his blessings has sustained him in life - his family, career, travel, friendships, spirituality, home life and public life. He also wants to spread the message that happiness is the most important gift you can give yourself and offers his happiness hints that everyone can use to help them appreciate the blessings in their life and take the focus off difficulties.

By sharing how he has dealt with the ups and downs of his life, he shows that happiness is something you choose, rather than it choosing you.

Francis Brennan is the co-owner of the five-star Park Hotel Kenmare, in Co. Kerry. Together with his brother John he has been showing hospitality businesses how to thrive as part of the RTÉ series ‘At Your Service’ since 2008. He is the bestselling author of It’s the Little Things.

Count Your Blessings: Francis Brennan’s Guide to Happiness is published by Gill Books and available in stores and online now, priced at €14.99.
